Doesn't matter where it is mate as it's on the VAC lines
I'll definitely try and get some pics for you tomorrow (when I have some sunlight to work with) that will show you all the lines to work with |

For testing mate don't bother....hell for testing I ran the hoses under the rear of the bonnet and in through the window then propped it up on my dash lol
Once you test for your leak etc then you cna worry about refining it all If I remember correctly though the only way to get a pod to fit to the pillar is to get a universal one and trim it to fit |

Haha, my original thought had been to use duct tape, but I was met with a few raised eyebrows Didn't think of going through rear of bonnet, saves me fiddling around tryin to get through the firewall!

It's only for testing at the end of the day mate.....who cares how it looks
Once you know it is boosting as it should then you can go through the firewall and do a neat and tidy install |

Gunna get the gauge hooked up at the weekend to see what the score is, but it seems as though it pulls a lot better and quicker if i let off the accelerator for a fraction of a second then put power down again, rather than full throttle throughout the revs, any ideas as to what could cause this? Then again, could just be my imagination, I'm getting awfully paranoid about it now.

Hesitation....well it could be plugs or coils, leads etc, maybe the MAF.
I'll definitely get that piccy for you tonight though mate....I was reeling in shock yesterday at the bill for my C70 so ended up having a few drinks instead lol |

Well got coils and leads sat waiting, and will pick up some new spark plugs for next service anyway. Ah cheers mate, I'm in no rush, won't get the pipe and connector and have time to do it until the weekend anyway (Just hope 4mm is gunna be right for the pipe off the manifold, looks a fair bit thicker). I know how you feel, I've got this back in for brakes and track rod ends next week as well. Volvos certainly aren't cheap when things go wrong

You're telling me mate
Think 4mm should be fine, I have some silicone in the boot of the 40 (I think) I will try and measure the ID and OD for you tonight.....I basically chucked the nylon stuff out that the gauge comes with as it was a bugger to work with and I felt more prone to splitting |
