Default Wanted, 240 trailing arms

Hi

I'm looking for a pair of lower 240 trailing arms. (The lower arms, with mounts for the axle, spring and damper).

Not bent or seriously rusty please, but they don't need to be cosmetically perfect.

The condition of bushes irrelevant because they will be replaced.

Thanks

John

Mine are OK, but I'm planning some modifications and if I had another pair to work on, the car could stay usable until they're ready to fit.

Found them, one bush has been removed and personally I would clean off the underseal and give them a sand blast to clean them up. I take it you want box them in?

I think John is planning on a modified (lower) mounting point to enable fitting nivomat self levellers with lowering springs. If you fit them together without a lower mount the self levellers fight the lowering springs up to the standard ride height.

Yes, Steve has it right. I will also strengthen them, and I'll need to make a new (strong) mount for the ARB.

Could you PM some photos Dai?

Those fancy ones are nice Antz, but no way I can justify that sort of spend for little or no specific benefit.
