340man Member Last Online: Sep 26th, 2019 09:23 Join Date: Jan 2012 Location: Middlesex	Steering lock and new MOT Rules Hi All, I have a 1989 340 GL 1.4 and the steering lock has never worked. No problem up to now, but I believe that the new MOT rules will require it to work. I have a complete spare column/ lock from a 1987 340 GLE 1.7. What is the easiest procedure to end up with a working lock on the car? Will drilling of the lock bolts be necessary etc. etc? Thanks Last edited by 340man; Jan 24th, 2012 at 11:53.
