changing bi xenon HID bulbs
not willing to apy £140 from my dealer so I intend to buy the bulb for an extortionate £70 and DIY. Factory original fitment.
Anybody done this? The handbook says how to get at the bulb but mine wont withdraw probably becuase I cant find a way of disconnecting the wire to it. How do yoyu do this? Given poor access is it better to remove the complete headlamp. In which case - how? |

You need to take out the air box on passenger side. The drivers side gives a bit better access.
Alternatively the whole front bumper needs to come off.

but when you have removed the round cover and eased off the two prongs that hold the bulb in, how do you get the bulb out? it still seems to be held in by something. possbily the wire, but I cant see how to disconnect it.
