  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Idiot question (sorry)

No1 fuse in the engine compartment, how the hell do you get it out, noticed there are 2 nuts either side, are these part of it? Or is it a case if pull like hell. Once again sorry.

If its a big one, 80A for example then yes it probably will secured by bolts/nuts.

Post a pic, always helps.. if it's a bigger current fuse they have a flat blade each side, and usually a stud with a small nut, 8 or 10mm once you removes the nuts you can take the fuse off the studs, I've got some fuses if you want, but were from an s60 rear fuse box,

Cheers bobthecabgage and thassos, turns out it wasnt a fuse but good to know in future, never known a fuse bolted in before, only had the car 8 yrs, once again thanks.

they are kind of permanent fuses , if one of those ever blows you have a serious problem
