The lowest noise ratings are on latitude sport 3 and f1a but the latter is with low speed rating (read weaker tyre walls) and seems to have worse wet performance. Those are just Keillor-fit's ratings. Do some research. I will probably replace mine if you have a good experience.

The quietest tyres I've found are Dunlop Sport Maxx GT and Goodyear Eagle F1.

I think it's important to look at the reviews where they use larger size as often tyres perform different in tests depending on size.
We are talking 275/45 R20 for xc90 with high speed rating. Most of the reviews which run on 225 profile 17th or 18th are of little relevance to us. Here in larger size test the f1 does not seem to have any better noise result than our stock conti http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article...-Tyre-Test.htm More importantly there doesn't seem to be much between any of them as far as noise goes. I still think that Michelin is a better bet. |
