Not a 'present' in the strict sense, 'V70Zig', but I did buy it a parking ticket (cost £1) for Ruddington Country Park earlier today. This it proudly displayed in it's windscreen, in the car park (next to a friendly XC90), while Linda and I enjoyed a brisk walk round the lake.

Lots of birds there today. Quite a few people too, many with dogs, and children on obviously new bikes and scooters, were doing likewise. Quite pleasant weather, but a cold and blustery wind made it a pleasure to return to the car and the Thermos!

Regards, John.

I’ve treated mine to a holiday in Cornwall and it’s kindly invited the family and I along as well

An "early" xmas present of a new MoT on the 1st of December. Apart from a minor tweak to the fuel pump/sender lock ring to cure a (very) minor fuel leak, it passed with flying colours, not bad for 30 years old and 220k miles!

A good hose down and a wash with nice water and shampoo. She was really grubby but looks great now.
