Default Knocking noise from front seatbelts

Hi, does anyone have slight knocking noises from their front seat belts when you move slightly in the seat?

Most audible at idle or low speeds but annoying because it is right by your ear!

Only when you move ever so slightly. Sounds like a slack clutch? on the inertia reel unit behind the housing on the door pillar.

It goes back to the dealer tomorrow for the second time. It might help if anyone else has had this problem and knows what they / their dealer did to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Arianne.

Default Solution

Dealer has replaced seatbelt unit and secured housing on door pillar. They acknowledged the problem and obviously decided that replacement under warranty was the best solution.

Service excellent, as ever. Car washed, tyres dressed, rubber mats washed, interior cleaned and complimentary magazine in car when picked up.

Yep - same problem, but the car's going in part-ex in 7 days.

Then I start on the XC70 warranty problems and (hopefully) solutions...
