The engine jerks when being switched off
Dear All,
I would like to ask for a help with my XC60, 2.0, 2015, 150 hp, D3. For some time it behaves strange with the following symptoms: 1. rough idle; 2. it is not that powerful with the low revs; 3. when the engine is being turned off it jerks and can be well felt in the car; 4. after the engine is turned off it makes a high pitch noise which stops after ten to twenty seconds with some valve closing (I might be wrong about this, but something clicks and then it stops). The Computer does not show any errors. I changed the MAS sensor and the EGR was maintained with an additive. the Intake manifold was also checked. after all these, the car runs a bit better but not as it used to. I was thinking whether that might be the vacuum pump since it is responsible for several valves positions in the engine and also delivers to the jerking issue from what I have read over the internet. If anyone can contribute for this problem, that would be fantastic Thanks in advance, Pavel |
