Probably worth far more than that in spares, sadly.
Particularly if it had floormats:
Look, here's a set for quarter of a Grand, FFS!
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403596787390
I'm pretty sure they were half that new...

Interesting little one turned up on eBay, however it’s in vehicle parts, not classic cars so may be missed.👍

No worries, thanks Andrew! Link as promised :

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/384836317534

It's now for sale in "Brochures", doubt they'll get much response so someone may pick up a bargain. Assuming that someone wants a 2.3 carb engined car of course..................

Well, if you're not watching the spares on ebay, this little gem might have missed your attention:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/294925180820
You'd have to really want rear window louvres to cough up that much though...

That's got to be some sort of mistake, surely? Maybe £80 at a push but £800?????

I think people do that (advertise in the wrong (i.e. not motor car) section) to avoid paying the eBay fees - which are generally free or nearly so for many items, but £20 for a motor car ad. The downside is no one much will see it - and of those that do, everyone will think 'what a knob'.

I'm tempted to buy the motor car then insist the seller delivers it to me for £3.35, as it says in the ad.

I agree with metaphorical 'everyone': what a knob.

:-)
