480 Turbo Auto for sale
Selling my 480 turbo due to too many cars to fix and household chores and not enough time. Body in very nice condition except for one small ding in the drivers door and another on the front wing, no rust. Good tyres and wheels. MOT till March. Very good half leather interior apart from the drivers seat bolster is warn. Goes like the clappers. New cambelt and tensioner, engine and gearbox oil just changed (and the filter). New fuel filter, plugs and coolant. 87,300 miles. Heated seats and mirrors, electric sunroof and windows, cd player.
It has a few small things wrong, spent ages fitting a new speedo sender then the mileometer stopped (much easier to replace than the sender). Still trying to figure out why it stalls at junctions sometimes and the tickover can be lumpy. I think the passenger side rear light leaks water sometimes so still trying to fix that one. The front fog lights decided to stop working the other day and there is gravel rash on the front panel from following other cars too close. Handles very well (Lotus tuned suspension apparently). Quite a pleasant car to zoom around in. £995 ono Located in Bangor, North Wales. Tel. Andy 07733106933 or email me through the forum |

480 turbo
I got the tickover and stalling sorted, kinda. Managed to turn the tickover up a bit, not ideal but i haven't got a gas analyser to do a better job and i have other things more pressing. Found out what the irritating dashboard buzz was and fixed it. Turned out to be the plastic finisher at the bottom of the screen on the outside, amazing how much help having a passenger is while doing 70mph. Still trying to find the elusive leak at the back end. Hopefully i'll have time to check the brakes this week, but i have a lot of work to do on my daily driver and my arthritis is becoming a real nuisance. I hate getting old.
