04 XC90 knocking noise during low speed turns
Hi I have an 04 T6 Exec and recently it has started to make a knocking noise as we do low speed turns, ie out of a junction. It appears to be coming from the front and right hand side although I don't want to make too many assumptions while trying to diagnose it. It is also only noticeable when doing sharper turns hence the low speed. The mechanic that services the car has had a look and found nothing untoward, however, has anyone on here had a similar issue? It only does it turning right at the moment so something isn't quite right.
Thanks for your help Graham P.s I checked there was nothing stuck in the tyre. |

Hi
Ive got the same issue Had it looked at in July. Mechanic said it was something to do with the plastic arch/ covering which had slightly deformed in shape so when making a right turn it makes a knocking sound. he said to leave it. |

Had the very same symptoms in my last car (not a volvo) and it turned out to be a lower ball joint.
Might be worth a second look. |
