I would not have trusted myself to register to bid: I saw a 1984 XK6 4.2 sell for only £900, and a 1987 Fiat 2.0l coupe go for £700! If I'd been in the room I might be shuffling the car trailer back and forwards to Kings Lynn for the next 4 days with the Onyx and the Lomax as well.

:-)
... plus, as you may have guessed, I've already bought another Volvo. I'll collect it from Liverpool on the way back from Selkirk. As long as it is as described I'll reveal all on Wednesday.

:-)

👍👍

Yes your post a few days ago had mention of a teasing new acquisition to your stable of wheeled transport.

Look forward to details next week.

Safe journey, Cheers
Steve

I look forward to introducing a new motor car - but I have not seen it in the flesh yet so I want to make sure it is okay before I bring it home to meet Millicent.

Bob and I have an adventure over the next couple of days: collect a car transporter trailer first thing tomorrow and load the RB, then head North to Selkirk to meet John (the new owner). Monday night we are at a dog friendly hotel in Selkirk, then on Tuesday we head South and West to Lancashire to meet RB2 (I hope), load it onto the trailer and get back home. The trailer has to be back by first thing on Wednesday.

That is Plan A... it should be fun. We'll report back on Wednesday.

:-)

The eBay estate has a bit more interest, will be interesting to see where it finishes. Been a few folk looking for a 145 so a little bit of interest in them. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/275429288...Bk9SR6q80cbYYA

Default Red estate at ACA

Hi Steve 940 I hope your available on Monday morning I got the impression you might make a bid on the red estate at ACA that didn’t meet reserve. I think you should have first dibs on it as you saw it before me but if not I might take a punt
