Lincolnshire Meet

Hi all

my suggestion would be to make it the last thursday of each month, what do u guys think?

The Swallow inn at swallow is a very nice place and it gives my car a bit of a run.

Any other ideas of places please post here

Also can we have an idea of who maybe interested in coming please

TO KICK THINGS OFF THE FIRST MEET WILL BE 31st MARCH 2010 AT 19:30

North Lincolnshire

LN7 6DL

We can always find an alternative venue after this meet if its not suitable or its a bit far then we can find somewhere that suits the majority

Any thoughts post here or contact me direct

just throwing this one into the arena as i have been contacted by a few guys from the Notts area on T5D5 who are up for the meet but its a bit too far for them to travel.

First meet is as already said at Swallow.

Now how about doing it on the last Sunday of the month down Lincoln way, most people are free on a sunday maybe get a meal sorted too and have a bigger meet once a month???

what do u guys think?

This meet appears to be changing...Lincoln way? Mmm, where exactly?

And what time...if it's food are we talking lunch or dinner? Not trying to be difficult but don't want to commit to something that's unrealistic(for me).

If the Notts folk are being factored in then the thoughts might be somewhere on the A46 - the Halfway House perhaps? That's at least a two hour round trip for me - I'd have to pass I'm afraid.

My Ford 302 V8 engined 740 uses too much gas!

I'm afraid of being outnumbered by moderns really.

I'll wait to hear the ideas at the Swallow.

Hi, just to mention, the swallow need to confirm time and dates, hope we have this covered. I cannot do sundays if its nice as normally go on a 200 mile bike ride (motorbike) and dont arrive home until early evening, when I am knackared! I will try if i dont fall asleep on the sofa..

i was thinking more along the lines of: we have our own little meet with whoever turns up and every 3/4 months do a big meet with notts/yorks and whoever else wants to come
