XC70 2007 (new shape) D5 Manual for sale
AVAILABLE FROM DECEMBER 8th
Hi all, We purchased this as a stop gap car back in July as the ETA on our new vehicle was July 2018. It’s now coming in December so this will be available then. Current mileage 212000 miles 14main dealer service stamps !!! 1 specialist stamp from where we purchased it 4.8.17 Huge folder of receipts all from the main dealer, incl new turbo quite recently and belts done at 200,000 (apparently this is also written on the engine.) We are only the second owners New rear tyres and pads all round when we purchased it New windscreen yesterday (from Volvo fitted by autoglass) MOT being done tomorrow (6/11/17) I will try and sort more information ASAP but it’s take me three weeks to get as far as writing this due to young kids and crazy work. High spec including (as far as I know) Heated AND cooled (in the front) leather (which works much better than our BMW ever did) Dynamic chassis? (Has comfort / sport etc buttons) Memory drivers seat Sunroof Cruise Auto wipers & lights (of course) Dynamic Audio Electric boot (with remote opening) Separate audio and headphone sockets in the rear Hill decent We also added a Bluetooth jobby for phone / music Overall I would say it’s in good condition for the age and mileage, certainly no major marks or dents etc Bad points: - Air con is whiny but works perfectly (loose bearing?) - Alloys have some bubbling in the middle - We have noticed that on occasion the power steering seems to stop working (just heavy to steer when parking) Specialist can’t find a fault and it happens so infrequently we haven’t bothered chasing it up as it’s not really a hardship. - it has “parking sensors” and “trailer system” service required messages which come up every time we start it. It has sensors and has obviously had a tow bar at some point, the sensors do not currently work. - one small “score” / tear in the drivers seat Other than that EVERYTHING works as it should as far as we can tell but there may be things we haven’t found to test. I’m not a mechanic though, if anything ever goes wrong I just hand it over to a garage by I’ll try and answer any questions I can £5,000 no offers Will also include a fold up dog guard (came with the car) Cheap cross roof bars Fitted rubber “bucket” mats (pretty sure are these Volvo) Over mats Fitted boot protector (sides and back of seats as well) Photos will follow as soon as I have time to take them Last edited by adamdavi3s; Nov 5th, 2017 at 17:14. |

Sorry, but at £5k are you having a larf.
A year younger, 75k less miles and advertised at £1000 cheaper. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...us=1500&page=3 Two years younger, 50k less miles and advertised at £1200 cheaper https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...us=1500&page=3 Sorry to be harsh, but everyone has information at their fingertips, and you’ll need to be competitive. As stated the price is the price and it is what it is. If it doesn’t sell it doesn’t sell, so be it |

I have to agree, I think you'll be keeping it. 212k is pretty leggy (even for a Volvo) and you're asking top dollar. But, that's your prerogative - as Bobby Brown once said.

Yeah that may be the case but so be it, maybe we’d entertain a close offer but honestly we love the car so we’re not desperate to shift it. Plus it is well specified.
I was a little dubious at the mileage myself, but along with it driving lovely the full and comprehensive main dealer history was enough to put my mind at ease! |

I'm looking currently, but I'd expect to pay circa 3k for that. Offer is there if interested.
