@ITSv40 - We had a similar DL experience when we bought the Yeti. We traded in our 5-Series BMW also insured with DL and we're pretty shocked that it was so much more expensive than the BMW to insure. DL response was 'It's a much newer and more expensive car...'.

I just don't bother predicting insurance renewals any more.

It is currently cheaper to insure my Volvo than it is our Yeti, despite the Volvo being newer, worth a lot more, a higher insurance group and with much more complicated parts in it!

Everything else has stayed the same. You just have to search every year if your policy goes up by more than 10%

The Yeti is still in high demand despite it being discontinued 6 years ago.

Per'aps they are trying to make up time after being stuck behind a boomy doing 25% less than the speed target.

Remember, speed doesn't kill, incompetence does.

Neither speed nor incompetence generally kills... its the sudden stop at the end that does it every time.

I'm no saint. Nowt wrong with speed - in the right place, and 70-80mph in this particular 50 limit is just plain dumb. It's a rural road with many bends, and junctions. Heavy agricultural and equestrian vehicles in and out of various junctions. Didn’t the Highway Code say something about 'being able to stop well within the distance you can see to be clear'? Not a chance.

And of the people who complain - how many are the 19 year olds who have put farty exhausts and 2 litre engines into their Fiesta and the company doesn't repair their car after a crash because they didn't declare modifications?

In my mind, it only really means things are normal...
Where's the quarter of a story? It would seem you're the only one even here that is luvin the Flux. People generally can't be bothered complaining, only when it's REALLY bad so with your maths; lets say 100 complain versus 800 000 whoare dissatisfied but so completely beaten down by Flux and feeling a bit stupid for ever puting themselves into a situation where they would get conned so blatantly. Add acouple of hundred thousand who just sit there and take anything. Shocking result.

Right, then you go on to slate young people and their lack of money. Very nice that...
Finally, of course you've never had to make a claim so you don't really have any knowledge about thecompany at all.

It not the speed that kills it the stopping that’s the problem

I have and flux pass you off to the actual little known insurer to sort you out..because they are a Broker not an insurer. In my case it went fairly ok..
