Air Bags at Dawn!!
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if the dash(passenger) airbag has gone off whether the sensor mounted under the headlamp unit needs repalcing when the dash/Air bag are replaced? Thanks in advance. 2007 SE 3.2 Petrol BTW. Last edited by seandodwell; Dec 9th, 2021 at 20:13. |

If you are doing airbag work, you always disconnect the battery. Then no issues can arise.

In short, any sensors that you suspect have been the cause of an airbag deployment should be replaced.

Get the codes read with proper Volvo gear - that will tell you what sensors are working or not.
Also in VIDA is a documented factory procedure on what needs to be done or replaced if any part of the SRS system has been detonated.
