Wanred: front seats
I am after a pair of front seats capable of being easily adapted to fit a 140 or 164. Ideally maroon but could live with black.
Somewhere I saw that some later model Volvo seats could be made to fit, but I (and John h!) don't know what. Can anybody help please. Paul |

Been there..
My '69 US 144 has 240 GLT front seats. Had to make brackets to attach them to original mounts in car but it wasn't that hard.

Thanks blownvolvo but I have hopefully got some blue ones lined up, and hope to modify the bases as per Marks suggestions. The main concern I have is that the 164 handbrake is approx where the seat adjuster is for 240 seats. Maybe not a problem, but it was noticeable on the 140 I did years ago.
We'll see.... P |
