  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default 144 NOVICE - advice help needed.

Hi,
ive recently purchased a 1969 144s in red,
its a great retro car and the 2nd volvo in my collection,
i would greatly appreciate any advice on restoring/maintaining and owning
as well as any sources for parts

Hi - and welcome!

I'm pretty much of a novice here myself ( 73 145) . There is tons of general info on this site so have a browse around and if you have specific questions - post them here and you will be delighted at the response. Trouble is there is so much general advice about running and restoring a 140/145 that a reply would take up 100s of pages.

As for parts - it depends on what bit - post your requirements here and see what the advice is - I am sure the community of Volvoites can either tell you of a supplier or realise they have what you want in their loft.
