Volvo 144s in shed
I have been given a Volvo 144s that has been stored in a shed for 15 years.
I am told that it was driven into the shed, so it should be mechanically ok (it looks mechanically good). The body has quite a bit of rust e.g. door skins, bonnet, boot, 1 rear quarter panel, outer sills etc, etc. The interior is perfect. The car is all there, nothing missing. I would not normally take on such a basket case (body wise) but the car has been given to me by a friend and also has some local history. Being my first Volvo project I need to know what repair panels are available for this car. Is there anywhere i could gat a list of available panels for this car. Any help would be appreciated. I would love to save this car. |

Boot, bonnet, doors, wings and front panel are all bolt on so it should be possible to obtain good secondhand. Skin sills I've seen on ebay - search for volvo 240 and you will find some sills on buy it now (same as 240).
Try Brookhouse Volvo 01473218806 they stock some repair panels inc new wings. Best of luck with the project. Mike
