RTI:MMM DVD repair
Hi Guys
I have repaired a few DVD drives for the original satnav player over the years, but have a weird fault and wondered if anyone can confirm if the vehicle coding is in the "big" PCB (the one with the external "loom" connectors and the software in the actual DVD drive is common across vehicles. I suspect it will be, but it would be great to confirm. Thanks

Yes, the OS is loaded onto the flash memory on the main PCB
The vehicle coding is also stored on the main PCB You can swap physical DVD drives from vehicle to vehicle, but you must retain the main PCB with the original vehicle
