Are you able to buy it after purchasing the car and how much is it?

Yes you can. Think it is around £350 plus VAT.

I thought it was £150 inc vat which is what the option price is

Mine got built without the option that I ordered so now I have the battery sat in the middle of the well. So now expecting not to have to pay for the Tempa nor the bag it will have to go in as it will have to sit in the boot

Temp wheel goes over the battery- mine was delivered with it, the battery is in the middle, under the wheel. Just the styrofoam part is different, to accommodate the wheel.

Not sure about the price, but the kit will include styrofoam, jack and wrench.

You don't get the tyre repair kit if you opt for the spare wheel.
That may account for the difference between £150 and £350.

That's excellent news the dealer was telling me that he battery is relocated. It did seem crazy to have the battery moved just to make room for the spare wheel. Thanks for that gem Haldex

I think this is about the right fitted price, with tools , this says not for xc60 but I think it will be the same price. £267, or £231 without tools.

Yes £150 that’s for factory fitted. Volvo take your eyes out if you want one after delivery. I queried why I was being charged so much when factory option was £150 and just got a shrug of the shoulders. Still went ahead as want the added comfort of a spare. The added bonus is I therefore also have the foam kit and compressor as well just in case.

So just to be clear, there is no requirement to relocate the battery and it sits over the existing battery?

The battery is quite wide could it be a more square battery if you bought the spare wheel at build, just want to ensure I don't buy something that requires more money?
