For Sale 1988 240 GL Saloon

Regrettably for sale is my 1988 240 GL.(And also my Black 740 Estate, details to follow)
I just dont have the time to get her on the road.
The car really is in great condition, engine,interior and body work.
Before i bought it about a year ago it was stored in a barn for a year after it was given by a grandfather to his grandson(not enough street cred for the young fella) so is without MOT or Tax.
Mileage is around the 130000 mark .

I have fitted the carpets, original radio & speakers, changed the front discs and pads but did not get round to bleeding the brakes, a section of exhaust will also need replacing.

All in all this would be a simple couple of weekends work for anyone who can use a spanner and in return would give them a cracking example.

2.0 Injection starts and runs without fault.
Interior very very clean indeed.
Bodywork shows some rust to the sill ends,nothing serious , the paintwork is what can only be described as fantastic in diamond white.
Car is located in Derby.

Just noticed cracked windscreen.
Price now adjusted to £350 to compensate.

Bump! Hi Minty sorry no one has offered to take this lovely looking car off your hands yet.Maybe if you mot'd it it would let folks know it's less work than they could imagine.
It really looks in good shape for the year and you have obviously worked a little magic to show it's full glorious potential.
As a spares car it would easily get you your money but no one surely wants that?

COME on someone buy this lovely car with so little work to do on it.
