Default XC60 - Unknown symbol on dash

Hi

Hoping you can help me as a first time Volvo owner.

A couple of times when I have been driving in hybrid mode in my 2022 XC60 T6 (AAOS) a little symbol has appeared next to the battery gauge. When this symbol is there the charge level falls off a cliff, you can almost count it down. As you can see from this picture it even thinks that at full charge there is only 16 miles.

Sorry its a really bad image as my passenger was taking it while we were driving!
It looks like a little electric symbol next above a winding road.

When I switch to Pure it goes away, the range is restored and all seems normal.

I've scoured the manual and the internet but not managed to find anything.

Any ideas please?

Any chance you could post a clearer photo?

It’s blurry, but that looks like the symbol which shows electric usage is being controlled by the satnav.

I agree - it looks like this smart hybrid use nav symbol to me:

Great thanks .... yes that's it! That makes sense now as I'm rarely using the sat nav at the moment so haven't really seen the symbol much.

I wonder why the electric usage is soo high when its there though.
Granted the distance to the sat nav destination was was less than the available range ... but I was planning on coming back afterwards and would be nice to have some battery left for that too!

Thanks for everyones help

If you are doing a round trip set your destination as where you start from and where you’re going as a way point. It’ll calculate the best use of electricity for the entire journey.
