Default Time for new lower control arms/wishbones. Where to buy?

Hi

It's time to change my lower front wishbones on our V50 2.0D 2007 due they have cracks in the bushings. Here in Sweden they cost £300 for left and right side. Feels like it's to expensive?
I have bought DPF and other car parts successfully throu eBay and one other UK company.

But when it comes for these chassis parts, is Volvo parts the way to go or is another brand equally good/bad?
Where can I buy wishbones online from UK with decent price and still good quality and do ship to Sweden?

Thanks in advance.

I'm in the market too for a pair, hopefully mine will hold up until Spring if I keep my fingers tightly tangled .. I'm not in the mood right now to lay on a freezing garage floor busting knuckles and changing bits and pieces on the car ..

Depending on chassis number, there are 2 variations> 18mm and 21mm cones / ball joints:
S40 CH -209290, V50 CH -214682 = 18 mm
S40 CH 209291-, V50 CH 214683- = 21 mm

These control arms are all over ebay, difficult to tell really which are good and which aren't, but good aftermarket brands include> Lemförder, aprox. 110€/arm, Meyle HD also have their arms for aprox. the same price, then there's Delphi for about 75€.

Lemforder> Part Number: right 33706 01, left 33705 01
Meyle HD> 716 050 0032/HD , 716 050 0031/HD
Delphi> TC2108 , TC2109

Then there's these German guys I've never heard about but both their prices and shipping fees are very tempting> http://stores.ebay.co.uk/MAPCO-Autot...sid=1153407994

.. and they even have their own youtube channel if you're interested in finding out more about them, just search for MAPCO on youtube.

Would be interesting to know whether anyone has had any experience with them ..

You can get genuine Volvo ones from here on ebay by supplying your VIN and saying what side you want Left or Right - LINKY!

You could always speak to Gavin Sturley - LINKY! and ask for their best price for parts with delivery to Sweden.

Another option would be speak to Rufe and see what they would be for parts plus delivery too - LINKY!

As an alternative I don't mind acting as man in the middle, you can purchase the parts and have them sent to me and I don't mind popping them in the post to Sweden.

I have replaced front control arms few months ago for circa 300£ (all in). Work was carried out by dealer so I guess control arms would be circa 140ish for a pair.

300£ all in is a very good price. Only the arms are 300£ here. Aprox 200£ more for the work.
Change them I can do myself but want to cut the costs a bit

Thanks for the links SonyVaio and thanks for your offer. Will check out my options and get back to you if it's needed Thanks.

Don't really want to taka a chance with an unknown brand as the cost it high enough if needed to replace again.

I replaced both mine 2 years ago for 'Firstline' aftermarket wishbones and they've been very good, still as new, I think they were about £80.00 each.
