Default C30 radio Bluetooth

Hi there
Loving my ‘new’ car but one ‘gripe’ so far has been in trying to pair my recently obtained iPhone 12 to the radio. I deleted the previous owners phone and added mine with the displayed pin code, it has synced and shows the phone on the display but if I make a call even with ‘my car’ selected on the phone it won’t go through the car audio system…, until this morning…, once while trying it!! And now it won’t do it again and seems to have even forgotten my phone and won’t let me Re-connect!! ALSO I’d hoped it could play my tunes wirelessly but nah! At least for that I can plug the phone in and use it as an iPod BUT (again) my car doesn’t seem to have a USB socket. Any help would be gratefully received.., thanks!

The inbuilt bluetooth Volvo fitted was only supposed to do calls and not audio. Worse, cars with bluetooth lost the USB socket.

Not exactly a winning combo.
