Volvo Amazon 122s reverse relay location

Hi I'm after some help locating the reverse relay on my 1968 volvo amazon 122s.
I'm rebuilding after a trip to the welders to replace the floor pans. Anyway, a few months later whilst getting the interior back in, I discovered my reverse lights no longer work, and the reverse switch is missing on the top of the M40 gear box. I also can't find any trace of the wire to the reverse switch, nor the location of the associated relay.
I wondered if one of you guys could help, I'm after the location of the reverse relay plus any help on the correct wiring routing to the top of the gearbox. I have a new switch, just no idea of where to connect to ! Thanks

The switch should be on the back of the gearbox, on an alloy housing, and the relay on the left hand inner wing.
