Just remember that if you wear polarised sun glasses then you will not see the HUD properly.

Put normal driving glasses on and it's great. TBH, I love it - hopefully will still love it in the winter when I would normally have had the heated screen doing its magic.......

Dont worry too much about the heated screen the standard system is very capable of demisting on it's own 👍

The bonus from having a HUD screen as opposed to a heated screen is that any addiitional SatNavs you may have attached to the dashboard will work quicker and more accurately if there is no heating elements in the windscreen.
Why an additional SatNav - do not ask - but if you have two then it is nice to have the second one to get a different view of the route.

I won't pretend to understand why reflections off metallic surfaces aren't polarised while reflections off non-metallic surfaces are. That's way beyond A-Level Physics! If you had a vertical piece of glass that reflected an image from a projector mounted to the left or right, rather than below, that would avoid the problem, but that would look downright ugly too. I've got used to driving without polarised sunglasses now, the only time I've found I could really do with them is when I'm driving through a tree tunnel and the angle of the sun is just enough to cause flickering reflections on the windscreen -- polarisation kills those.

No problems wearing polarised sunglasses with my Wife's Kona EV which has a pop-up HUD.
