I would agree with that Steve, I’d say that was a bargain at £6,400. It might cost £20,000 to restore an ancient barn find to about that standard.

It never describes itself as a 960, which is what it is, it’s evasive!🤨

True but so many non-Volvo people don't know the difference and just think of it as a 940 even when it isn't.

I'd be inclined to steer clear on that alone though as the seller doesn't know what he's selling.

I am inclined to agree. I am also inclined to listen to what people DON’T say too.🤨

Agree with all of the above. Also, he doesn't know how old the dodgy battery is - points to me that he is flipping it for a profit. If he had owned the car for any length of time he would have a good idea how old the battery is. Far too many red flags.

Previous owner was probably a boomer who popped his clogs, and the guy selling got it cheap as clearly is not familiar with it. Nothing wrong with not being familiar with 31 year old ****boxes, nor is it a crime to flip cars for a few hundred. It's a grand with no reserve - he hasn't stuck it on at 5k like a lot have done with ordinary ones.

It depends entirely on the corrosion, easy to look at that before handing over the cash. But if it's not tht bad, get some MOTIAC on that corrosion and run it til it dies.

Do you guys not know anything about bangernomics?
