Hi there used to be companies on ebay that would sell you a wing coloured to match for not much money, I looked into it for a golf wing many moons ago. I would take off the wing, see Maccmike
post on this forum, if its just dented and the paint isn't cracked some judicious fettling with a plastic chisel from the rear may work, or worst case take it into the spray shop.

It's difficult to tell from the picture, but have you tried just levering out yourself? It might not look perfect but at least it won't foul the door and if you're lucky it might not look that bad.

If you can squeeze/slide/ease the door past it, with a kitchen knife or something used like a shoehorn, you could probably get better access with the door half open. Protect the paint with two or three layers of masking tape.

Done just that Canis. Removed inner wheel arch (you need to drill the metal rivets out) and then was able to get behind with some wood and a crowbar. Also had to use plastic trim tool to lever on the wing edge to get the gap closer to where it needs to be and now can open the door Took around 1/2 an hour and TBH looks OK. Not perfect, but at least I am not precious about it now.

I will also keep a lookout for a spare as now I can see how to get it off if I need to and looks quite easy.

Can you tell me where you obtained the rivets from, when you find some, because I think I'm gonna need a box of them as well. They're not your average pop-rivet, they collapse a particular way.

Just out of curiosity; Is the wing just held on with bolts? That's quite normal, but you never know.

I have ordered 2 packs of 10 but they are not OE so will let you know how it goes with them.

The wing is held on with just bolts which is amazing - you have to remove the bumper but this is easy and you may need to remove the wiper/scuttle panel but not sure on that. I have Vida so can check the manual. Most cars I have owned require a little welding in some parts but not the Volvo which means for light prangs you can replace the front end on the drive if you are handy with the spanners
