Location of Alarm Module in Volvo XC 90 Series II (2016)

I need to get the alarm module replaced on my Volvo XC 90 which is a 2016 Series II model (D5 AWD) and am wondering if it is the same location as the Series I XC 90, i.e. top of driver side wheel arch (right hand side though I'm not sure if the location is the same irrespective of whether left hand or right hand drive)

Hi, did you ever find out the location? I have a 2016 model year XC90 d5 AWD as well and the alarm goes crazy on occasions so I was looking to check mine out. I've had both front wheel arch liners out and I can see anything that looks like an alarm module.
