V40 T3 Geartronic (2018) with B4154T4 engine - Balance shaft

Hello,

New to the forum, have just bought my second volvo (first being a S40 T4 phase 1 many years ago).

It's a 2018 T3 geartronic auto, so has I think the 1.5 petrol family engine (B4154T4) with 23,500 miles on the clock I have it booked into a local Volvo specialist next week, as there's an engine related whine, not deafening but definitely present.
It's not gearbox or transmission related as the noise it can be heard in neutral. My question is, does this engine also have the balancer shaft that I know was updated I think in 2019. I can find plenty of reference to the 2.0 engines with that issue, but nothing about the 1.5 engines. I think it's basically the same thing with a shorter stroke but wondered if anyone knew about the balancer issue. Other than the 'noise' it's pretty much perfect with full volvo service history. Appreciate diagnosis is impossible without hearing it, as I mentioned It's going into to be looked at next week, but just on the off chance anyone knew I thought I would ask.
