Default V70 Will Not Start

Hi, looking for help, please:
My 2002 V70S AWD will not start. In fact, it will not even fire.
There have been no starting problems in the 4 years that I have owned it.
Here's the sequence of events leading up to the problem:

As a result of an MOT failure, certain work was needed for repairs.
Changed front brake discs and pads and engine mount on day one, car ran fine. Drove down road to settle brakes, parked up.
Changed rear discs, pads and handbrake shoes on day two, drove car down the road, it ran fine. Parked car up.
Car now refuses to start after being parked for two weeks (waiting for suspension bushes from Volvo).
I've checked all fuses and relays and done diagnostic check after diagnostic check. All showing no fault.
There is petrol and a spark.
Cranking over causes it to flood.
Battery is low, it's being charged.

Noting in the areas I've worked would cause failure to start.

Any ideas, please ?
Thanks,
Stuart.

With the battery out of the circuit (remove both cables) for an hour, touch both clamps together. this, I believe, clears certain memories. It's the only thing I can think of aside from checking spark plugs for condition.

Touch a match to any removed, wet plug in a non-starting engine to see if it ignites.

After you charge the battery measure it's voltage. Wait overnight and measure the voltage again. Your battery could read below 12.2v (failed battery) and could drop to <10 while cranking and fail to start the car.

How old is it?
