Headlining removal on S40 with sunroof
Having chased down all the knocks and squeaks on my S40, only one remains!
The headlining is making a creaking noise at the back, which varies with ambiant temperature. It sounds like a tacky adhesive, as if it is sticking and then coming away with the slightest of movement in the car. It may of course be the sunroof mechanism, but I don't know what it looks like under the headlining so have gone with my best guess. I used to have a copy of VADIS but lost it in a house move. Could anyone do me some screendumps of the procedure for removing and replacing the headlining on an S40 with sunroof. I intend to remove it, sort out the adhesive (if there is any), lubricate the sunroof mechanism and replace. Thanks Last edited by manoman48; Sep 12th, 2008 at 11:50. |
