H7 bulb socket
Hello from s40 2002:
Front head light H7 bulbs socket with its 2 incorperated wires is both slightly melted and broken beyond use. Have obtained a new 2 wire socket. To attach it I will need to cut the present wires back slightly and then attach the new socket - with the use of 2 wiring connecters which will be taped over with insulation tape thereafter. Is there anyone who can tell me if this is safe enough? Andrew Last edited by Andrew Hutton; Apr 17th, 2021 at 08:35. |

If you have a heat gun and enough access, I’ve heard good things about these:
