As far as I know there is no formal recall for the EGR issues. VUK are only sanctioning fixes when the error code shows up and even then the service actions are only for 3 or 5 years from new for the valve and cooler respectively (it may be the other way round).

Update:
Hi just to update you that I have received the car back. All mods mentioned on the forum have been carried out. New EGR Valve, new cooler and new pipes. Thanks again for all the advice. |

To be honest I think it's just a case of me getting used to the steering.
It's obviously heavier than I've been used to in recent years. I'll probably look into alignment etc in the future. I suppose I should get on and enjoy it. ☺️ |
