My wife just told me that our XC60 downloaded 2.2 yesterday, not installed it yet though.

I would wait a bit longer for 2.2 since its re-release is still very recent. I am still on 2.1 and not received notification from the car of any update yet but they usually take up to about 2 weeks to arrive after an announcement for me.

HI All, my car today told me i had a software update! so i installed it and WOW i can report that the USB data transfer is working again and a strange icon has now appeared on my center display saying "carplay" but i wont be using this as i am an ANDROID user!!

There is ONE small niggle that i have now found, Will have to see if Audowagon can play the USB if it is not installed in the socket with the white outline around it, because when i start the car i get a messgae unknown USB source!

I don’t think standard audio usb will work via the socket, I could be wrong but I think it’s only for ACP.

Apparently the Car2Play wireless adapter devices will work. Unfortunately in the S/V90 Recharge you don’t get wireless charging due to the lack of space in the tunnel, but I will be putting a pad in the thin storage compartment under the armrest as there’s just enough room!

HI S90, thats where you are wrong! it does! what i was asking is if it only worked from the with white outline, if that is the case then its just a screen press to clear that error messgae! and Audiowagon works and can play my music of the USB Stick.

Yes that's what Polestar/AudioWagon users are also reporting, the same error message which you can just bypass. That'll do for me!

So pleased. Downloaded and have CarPlay working.
Have yet to see how it works for me but lots of apps available. Including Waze.

I am experiencing problems installing the 2.2 update. I have done all previous updates without issues, so I am not sure whether all of a sudden I am no longer capable of updating AAOS, or there is a problem with the car.
The update has been downloaded, I accept to install it, switch off the engine and lock the car. The car is not plugged to recharge, as per instructions. Yet, twice it told me the update failed, and now nothing at all happens.
Does anybody have any clue/suggestion? The car is booked in for a driveshaft replacement under warranty (knocking noise) next week, so in the worst case scenario the dealer will update the software. Thanks in advance… I have been waiting so long for the update, been reading about people being excited about it… and now I feel immensely frustrated 🙄

If there is an issue with the update, leave it, there might be a reason its not installing.
