The differences in the doors are probably to do with types of trim and various electrical sub-systems such as mirror motors and window motors. Door frames are expensive: Pininfarina used the same frame/skeleton for both Peugeot's 406 coupe and a contemporaneous Ferrari though the outer skins are different.
