Default New proud owner of a 940 Turbo Wagon

So today I became, officially, the proud owner of a Volvo 940 Turbo Wagon. It's from 1997 (same date of birth as my wife, only 10 years younger), with a B230FK, M90 tranny and it has almost 500000km! It's a one owner car with all maintenance made at the Volvo dealership (proven by paperwork) including an engine rebuild in 2019 that cost almost 3k euros. *
Drives great, sounds great and breaks great. Not sure if the turbo is 100%. I don't hear it kicking in. Also a minor issue with the ac. No leaks. No rust. Only a few scratches a 1 piece of trim missing.

What a beauty By far the best colour for a 940

Mines a mere baby on 136,000 miles ( 218870.784km )

Keep us updated on how she goes

What color is yours? I wish mine had less kms. But we'll, at least i have a complete history of maintenance. And i know the engine was rebuilt 24k km ago.

CC works at speeds over 35mph/55kph.
Slide the switch on the front of the indicator lever to the middle of it's travel and when at your desired speed, press the button on the end of the same lever.
Sliding the switch to the right will cancel CC as will pressing the brake or clutch pedals.
Sliding the switch to the left (it will then spring back to the centre) will resume CC at your previously set speed.

Nice car you have there. Don't worry about the mileage, they go on for ever.

Honestly I don't know how to diagnose it. I haven't had the opportunity to drive the car too much just yet cause I'm waiting on the insurance to insure the car. Here in spain they take their time... Anyway, I'm not sure it even has a problem. I don't think I hear the turbo, but maybe I'm expecting a louder noise than I should. Does it kick in on low gear while accelerating heavily, just on high gears, or what? Is there a sure way to know undoubtedly that it is working? Or is it a thing that if it is, I'll know!?

The B230FK Is a pretty subtle turbo. It's low pressure running about 3.5psi so you won't notice it that much
