P1800 becoming rare in UK?
Is it my imagination but are P1800 cars becoming rare in the UK, with virtually no UK registered cars available for sale?
How this model's appeal has changed in the last five years! A quick check of the "How many left " website for the UK shows a combined total for all models (P1800/1800S/1800E/1800 ES/1800 ES Automatic) at 659 of which 435 are licenced, the rest are on SORN. From what I know there are mix ups on the DVLA records between models. My car is shown as a P1800 despite it being a 1800S. To put the numbers into perspective Aston Martin DB4/DB5/DB6 there are 779 licenced in UK Jaguar E Type over 6,000 licenced in UK! |

Surprised there’s that many. I have a 142 and there’s probably only a handful of RHD ones in the U.K.

I went to a modest car show here in Kent on Sunday and there were 4 1800's there, all white!
