In nearly 3 years of V90 R Design ownership it's not a problem I've encountered. Could I have non reflective chrome trim.

In other cars I’ve owned, I have dealt with reflections off the dash itself by wearing polarized sunglasses. Not sure how that might work on Chrome reflections, but worth a try.

I bought a pair of glasses holders and installed a pair of Oakley poleroid sunglasses in them in my xc70.
While you will still Prehaps get a bright spot I don't think you will get any glare.

The glasses holders replace the overhead grab rails above the door. I could not use it while driving and the wife is too short to reach it comfortably so their removal was no loss. They are in storage for the next owner to decide their preference.

Paul.
