Hi, I had mine sorted by Volvo diagnostic (lucasz) although I see his prices have increased substantially. However, the repair has a lifetime warranty. If you call to have it fitted, he will prepare one for fitting and that takes just minutes. I am sure he will reset your srs too.

There are also plenty of second hand units on the 'bay'.. but you take your chances here.

I guess your choice (if indeed you want to fix and not just disable) is whether to fit an aftermarket head unit.

Well done for sorting the other problems caused, but I stand by my decision of keeping my old girl 'standard', including the slightly clunky sat nav and phone.

I can't clear the airbag fault at present due to the stereo being permanently disconnected.
I have Vida so it will be done once a decision has been made.
Thanks

Thanks John.
It's my wife's car so she has a decision to make.
The car has no sat nav or phone function.
She had a redundant Kenwood touch screen in her old 99 V70 which has android auto and Bluetooth and DAB which can be moved over.
£160 for stereo repair.
£150 approx for a double din conversion which includes the fascia.
Amp bypass and steering wheel interface.
I'm waiting for her to decide what she wants to do.
