So the saga continues, seal blown again. I'm going to do the resonator with the silicone pipe.
I've noticed that the pipe from the resonator to the intercooler is missing what looks like mounting brackets. Cut off and tied up with zip ties. At a duess that's what's been allowing the vibration and then the seal goes. Is this pipe a relatively easy fix? |

It was on my Chrysler. Just a pain of access as usual and a few runs of getting the clamps tight enough.

Top seal blown on my XC90. Any more detailed advice how to access top clip as very little space there and the plastic box is in the way. Is the top clip same principle as the bottom one? Can see only the other side (plain clip), will have to dig in deeper and try on feel

Actually it does make a difference in turbo sound, but only audible during sudden gas pedal lift-off when boost is just gaining around 1500-2000 rpm.
Personally I find it annoying and i'm changing back to OEM resonator. But if you like that "woosh" sound, then the silicon pipe is a good alternative and gives more peace of mind regarding longetivity.
