480 Celebration - Limited Edition Issue Number?

Hi, a friend has bought a 480 celebration - has all the right trim etc and log book shows it as a celebration model. Unfortunately, the special plate showing the limited edition issue number of the car is missing. Hoping to get a new plate made up but how do we find out what the limited edition issue number was? (i.e. car x of y)? We have the car registration no. and the chassis number but does anyone hold a data base of the issue numbers?

I'd imagine that Volvo themselves might be the ones to contact, you could try the 480 Europe forum but I don't think they have the info. there. Funnily enough, there was a thread on earlier in the year about the exact same thing - someone with a celeb. and the plaque missing.
