Default What Did You Do Today ....

..... to your 700/900.

Not too much. I gave the oxidezed red and tree pollen covered paintwork on the 745 a wash off with water from the rain water butt and .....

..... then Corban appeared to work some magic on the paintwork with my assistance and under supervision! Came up very well!

Just got to pass the heat gun over the bumpers to get them back to black, new pin stripes along the sides and, vac and polish the inside. Then we are off for the Summer!

Cheers to all and, enjoy the May Bank Holiday,

Bob

Indirectly... I re-covered the headlining card with new fabric ... on my Disco!

But it is 740-related, honest, in that now I've done that, it can go back in the Disco and stop cluttering up my garage, freeing up space ready for me to take the engine and gearbox out of the 740.

Finished doing front seals and water pump on the oldest 940 in my collection. It’s kind of on my agenda to sell it, but every time I repair it I decide to keep it a bit longer.

After a hectic 3 weeks i performed internal eyelid inspection today.

That said i recently repaired a fault on a Jag S-Type HVAC system that would only blow hot or thermonuclear. It now blows cold when it should and thermonuclear when needed too.

I tried to fit the new stainless exhaust to the 940 but the old one refuses to be removed, point blank....

So the car is booked in at the local garage before I end up doing more damage to the rest of the system by losing my patience.

My replacement front door cards are in and my drivers seat is getting a good refresh with replacement leather all thanks to Awesome Classic & Custom, pics will follow

Unfortunately i am suffering some debilitating symptoms from my bowel cancer so I have been laid up since Wednesday ...

Still hoping I will be back on my feet by the 14th for the Ace Cafe Wagon Meet

I finished removing the bushes from all the front and rear suspension components in preparation for paint and poly-bushing, which I'll hopefully start tomorrow!
