Help!
Just returned from a four week holiday, and I can't start my v40. I can Unlock and light up the instrument panel. The 'Not Immobilised' light comes on. Do I need a new battery? If I do how do I immobilise the car?

Thanks

hi

this sounds like the key has lost its programming, when i had a new key cut, it would light up the dash and the radio would work but would not start the car.

after the key was programmed at the dealer it worked fine.

have you tried the spare key ????

cheers

scott
