ECM-9190 Throttle position (TP)-Faulty Current DTC is found Not active
Possible source
the power supply to the throttle unit
poorly charged battery or corroded in the connecting cables
defective throttle unit.
This diagnostic trouble code is generated in combination with other trouble codes. Information on the possible root cause is described.
Information about combined diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)

Fault symptom[s]
the accelerator pedal (AP) is ignored when braking
the cruise control cannot be activated
uneven idle
jerks during engine braking
very poor accelerator response
maximum speed approximately 50 km/h
the ETS warning lamp lights (C70 and S/V70 -2000 only).

Also regarding our phone conversation about cutting off randomly i suggest to check all wiring in engine compartment and earth connection bolted to both wings.
Did person, who diagnosed problem, run etm position sensor test?? and if so what was result of it?? What is alternator voltage??

Default DIM problem

We are new members. The dashboard on our 2003 S60 has finally given up, the only light that comes on with the ignition is the engine management light, which goes off straight away. Nothing else works, is this down to the DIM? if so can it be repaired?

Default Superfast dim repair

This guy is great! I tracked the parcel- he got it at 13.05. At 12.45 the next day, it was back in my car working perfectly!. I have told Jump Leads it St Annes as Brian was being charged a lot more than £50 plus postage!

Hi Lukas,
I've just sent a request through your website about my S50 D5 possible DIM problem. My issue is just the trip computer going blank but showing it's face every now and again plus the full beam light works intermittantly. Do you give the DIM a general once over to check for other potential probs? That would be re-assuring for the future if so.
Rich.
PS. Hope you enjoyed your holiday!
