Replacing headlight bezels - tips please? - Page 2

Hmm thats unusual then, because mine have a patterned effect on the lenses. Definitely not the clear ones unfortunately!!

think he might have the old glass on twin casings?

You could be right... can you take a pic of behind the lights with the bonet up? Well your a mech arnt you youll know if you have 2 x H7 lamps in each light. If you do the Sam is right you just need to swap the lenses.

It looks like twin lamps behind old style lenses to me too . . . . the clear headlamp lenses are quite expensive to buy on their own . . . . maybe a previous owner bought an old pair of headlights (would not have cost much as nobody wants the old version) and just used the lenses?

Well i noticed the full beam is a H7 bulb anyway, so id guess that it is twin H7 bulbs.. Are the older ones a single 472 bulb?

My drivers lamp needs replaced anyway, the reflector is walloping about!

Im gonna try find newer lamps and grill in a scrap yard near me..
