Fair point, I think I read OPs post differently first time round.
Simmo, when you say there is no power, do you mean you can push the accelerator and see the needle move up the power band on the dash but the car doesn't move until the needle moves up to the engine (oil drop) side. If it's happening at traffic lights in the same way i.e. stopped at the lights on electric power, accelerate away but no movement until the needle goes past the oil drop - then both of those sound like possible ERAD failure. Does it ever pull away on electric for a second then cut out until you push the accelerator past the oil drop? That was the case with mine, definite ERAD failure. |
