I had the same issue with 2 of mine.
It was very much a botch job and got them off ok:
I parked the car close enough to a wall so that the breaker bar (with short extension and socket) when on the bolt was about 3 inches away.
I then used a length of wood as a lever between the wall and socket to apply lots of force to push the socket inwards towards the wheel.

of course you will need 2 people to do this one to adjust the lever the other to undo.

it worked for me and then I replaced with new bolts.

Good luck.

I fitted the adjusters in the drums - I fitted and tested them, then I went to adjust them and I had ruined the key.

I'm thinking of trying to use a dremel to get the collar off.

Stand by for a "ticking off" from those who believe you shouldn't fit these adjusters...

I have a complete set of rear discs, pads, shoes and adjusters - all genuine, just waiting to go on when the rear brakes finally get bad enough.

Cheers

Dave

I'll take that ticking off if they tell me how to get the locking wheel nut off

Im taking a dremel to the spinning collar this weekend - if I get it off then hopefully I can smash a socket over it

If you fitted adjusters you can increase or decrease by taking 1 bolt out with wheel still on car....move wheel round until you see adjuster use torch and long thin screw driver to adjust ....in combination with adjuster near passenger seat...Many instruction how to on forum.
